- Shop window decoration — displays that make the difference
What you will learn: • Why the right shop window decoration is as important as the clothing itself • How eye-catchers like chrome boulders transform a space • Which Bonami Deco displays contribute to a strong store concept • How to build a cohesive total concept from window display to interior Customers don’t buy clothes. They buy a feeling. And that feeling starts before they even step inside your store — with the first glance at your window. The right shop window decoration determines whether someone stops, walks in and ultimately takes something home. Why shop window decoration is not a side issue Visual merchandising is about more than placing the right mannequin in the right spot. It’s about the complete picture: the atmosphere, the layout, the details that give a space its identity. Accessories and shop window decoration are the silent salespeople — they draw attention, tell a story and give your collection the context it needs to shine. A store without decoration is like a book without a cover: the content may be good, but the presentation doesn’t convince. Customers who see a well-styled window display immediately associate that with quality, care and a strong brand. The eye-catcher: when decoration becomes a statement Some decorative elements do more than complement — they take over the conversation. At Bonami, we call them eye-catchers: pieces that immediately draw the eye and give a space an unexpected dimension. Chrome boulders: robust, reflective and genuinely surprising Our chrome boulders are a perfect example. At first glance, they look like stones — raw, organic, earthy. But the mirrored chrome finish transforms them into design objects that reflect light, make the space feel larger and create an unmistakably premium atmosphere. Use them as a base for a bag or shoe, as a rhythmic element in a large window display, or simply as a solitary sculpture that defines a space. They work equally well in a luxury fashion store, a concept store or a showroom. A chrome boulder needs no explanation. It draws the eye, sparks curiosity and gives your space a signature that customers remember — long after they’ve left your store. The chrome sculpture: art as a sales tool For those who want to go one step further, Bonami also offers fully chrome sculptures. A sculpture in your window or store interior immediately positions your store as more than a point of sale — it becomes a space with character, with an artistic dimension that resonates with customers and sets you apart from the competition. These pieces work particularly well combined with minimalist presentations: one sculpture, one collection, maximum impact. From accessory display to vase: the importance of consistency A strong store concept is consistent from the window display right through to the interior. That means every decorative element — even the smaller ones — must be a deliberate choice, not a random addition. The Bonami Deco range offers a wide selection of pieces that coordinate perfectly: • Vases (VS70 & VS135) — available in various sizes and colours, ideal as a solo accent or grouped for more visual weight • Accessory displays (gold, silver, black) — stylish holders for jewellery, scarves, hats and small accessories that present your collection as a whole • Columns — vertical elements that add height and draw the eye upward, perfect for window displays and showrooms • Podiums (round, oval, upholstered) — for height variation and layered presentation, also available in fabric for a luxurious finish • Leaf & OVST — organically shaped pieces that are both decorative and functional, serving as a base for mannequins or accessories How to build a cohesive total concept The power of decoration lies not in one striking piece — it lies in the coherence. A well-designed store concept works like a composition: each element reinforces the next, and together they tell one story. A few guidelines that make a real difference for your shop window decoration in practice: • Choose one colour code for your decoration and stick to it. Gold, chrome or black — each creates a different atmosphere, but don’t mix them randomly. • Play with height. Combine low boulders, mid-sized vases and tall columns for a dynamic, layered presentation. • Let the decoration serve the collection, not the other way around. The accessories are the frame — the clothing is the painting. • Change your layout periodically. Regular customers notice the change; new customers always see a fresh presentation. Decoration as brand expression The decoration you choose communicates who you are as a brand — before a customer has touched a single garment. A chrome boulder says: bold, contemporary, confident. A gold accessory display says: luxury, detail, exclusivity. An organically shaped leaf says: soft, human, approachable. At Bonami, we understand that language. Our Deco range is designed with that awareness: every piece is a design choice with a purpose, and every piece fits seamlessly into a larger visual story. - Artificial plants for retail spaces - atmosphere that sells
What you’ll learn Why artificial plants for retail are becoming increasingly popular Which materials Bonami uses and why they matter How to choose the right plant and pot for your space Who Bonami Pots & Plants are designed for Green sells Not figuratively, but literally. A space with greenery invites people in, creates comfort and encourages them to stay longer. However, real plants require water, light and care. With Bonami artificial plants for retail , you benefit from all the advantages — without a single drop of water. Why artificial plants for retail are on the rise The retail sector has undergone a clear shift in recent years. Stores are no longer just points of sale, they are experiences. Customers consciously and unconsciously compare your store interior to the atmosphere of their own home. Greenery plays a key role in that experience. Yet not every space offers the right conditions for real plants. Not every team has time for daily maintenance. And not every layout allows for natural light or irrigation. That is exactly why high-quality artificial plants for retail are such a smart solution: you achieve the look of nature, combined with the practicality of a durable design object. Bonami Pots & Plants — materials that make the difference Not all artificial plants are created equal. Lower-quality options fade, deform or quickly lose their realism. At Bonami, we apply the same standards as for our mannequins:every product is designed to look perfect for years. Artificial silk based on natural materials Our core collection is made from synthetic materials based on viscose and cellulose , often referred to as artificial silk. This results in leaves and flowers that closely mimic the texture and movement of real plants, both up close and from a distance. UV-resistant and flame-retardant Part of our collection is produced using environmentally friendly plastics that are UV-resistant and flame-retardant . This makes them ideal for: shop windows exposed to sunlight, hotels and hospitality spaces, shopping centres and event locations with strict safety regulations. Our products are designed for long-term use and are easily recyclable , contributing to a more sustainable approach. The pot: more than just a container A beautiful plant without the right pot is like a premium garment on the wrong mannequin — the impact is lost. The pot is a design element in its own right. At Bonami Pots & Plants, we select pots with: clean lines high-quality materials finishes that match contemporary retail interiors These are not disposable items, but durable design pieces that elevate a space, season after season. Who are artificial plants for retail designed for? Our collection is created for professionals who understand that atmosphere is essential: Retailers looking to enhance their store or window display Hotels and restaurants aiming to create a warm, welcoming environment Interior architects searching for maintenance-free green solutions Offices and co-working spaces adding comfort and human touch Which artificial plants suit your space? - The benefits of a sustainable mannequin: lightweight, strong and 100% recyclable
What if your next mannequin was the last one you ever needed to replace? That is not a marketing promise. It is the practical reality of what a genuinely sustainable mannequin can offer when it is designed correctly from the start. Not fragile. Not heavy. Not dependent on paint that chips and peels. Just a durable, lightweight, fully recyclable display tool that works harder and lasts longer than anything that came before it. At Bonami, we developed Bonplast — a high-performance thermoplastic that forms the basis of our sustainable mannequin range. The benefits go well beyond environmental responsibility. They are operational, financial and aesthetic too. Key takeaways: Bonplast mannequins are at least 3 kg lighter than traditional fibreglass models Unbreakable under normal retail conditions — no cracked fingers, no shattered torsos Colour pigmented in the material — no paint, no chipping, no repainting Magnetic systems allow arms to click into place in seconds 100% recyclable worldwide at end of life — genuinely circular Leftover Bonplast becomes custom hangers — zero waste production The sustainable mannequin benefits that matter most in daily retail There are two kinds of sustainability in retail. The kind that looks good in a brand statement and the kind that actually changes how your store operates. Bonplast mannequins deliver both — but it is the operational benefits that retailers notice first. Every day that your team works with heavy, fragile mannequins is a day of unnecessary effort. Arms that resist, paint that marks clothing, broken joints that need replacing mid-season. These are not dramatic failures — they are the slow friction that makes visual merchandising harder than it needs to be. Bonplast removes that friction entirely. Sustainable mannequin benefit 1: lightweight for effortless handling Traditional fiberglass mannequins are heavy. Moving them during a window change, repositioning them on the shop floor, dressing them repeatedly throughout a retail season — all of it demands more physical effort than it should. Bonami's sustainable Bonplast mannequins are at least 3 kg lighter than standard fibreglass models. That difference is immediately noticeable. Your team moves them faster, dresses them more easily and handles them with less strain — every single day. For visual merchandising teams that change displays frequently, this weight saving adds up significantly over a retail season. Less physical effort means more creative energy where it actually matters. Sustainable mannequin benefit 2: unbreakable under real retail conditions In a busy store, things fall. It is not a question of if — it is a question of when. Traditional mannequins respond to impact by cracking, chipping or shattering. A broken wrist joint or a cracked torso means either an immediate repair or an emergency replacement, both of which cost time and money. Bonplast does not crack. It absorbs impact and stays intact. Your mannequin falls, your team picks it up, your display continues. No drama, no cost, no disruption. This durability also protects your clothing. A mannequin with rough, broken edges snags fabric. A Bonplast mannequin with its smooth, intact surface treats every garment exactly as it should. Sustainable mannequin benefit 3: colourfast with no paint Spray-painted mannequins have an expiry date. The paint chips. It peels. It transfers onto clothing. It requires sandblasting before the mannequin can be recycled. These are not edge cases — they are the predictable lifecycle of any surface-painted display. Bonplast takes a fundamentally different approach. The colour is integrated directly into the material itself, not applied on top. That means no chipping, no peeling, no colour transfer onto garments. If the mannequin gets a small scratch, it buffs out easily with sandpaper — the colour runs all the way through. The result is a mannequin that maintains its appearance for years without maintenance. Available in all colours and transparent tones, with the pigment built into every centimetre of material. Sustainable mannequin benefit 4: magnetic systems for fast dressing Dressing a mannequin should take minutes, not thirty. The magnetic connector system in Bonami's sustainable mannequins eliminates the physical struggle of attaching limbs. Arms click into place instantly. No forcing, no twisting, no tools required. Anyone on your team can work with them, regardless of experience or physical strength. This speed advantage compounds across every display change throughout the retail year. Combined with the anatomical precision of the fit — garments drape naturally without pins or clips — the result is a faster, cleaner and more professional dressing process from start to finish. Sustainable mannequin benefit 5: 100% recyclable at end of life Most mannequins that claim to be sustainable are not genuinely recyclable. Paint coatings, permanently fixed metal systems and mixed materials make end-of-life processing difficult or impossible in practice. Bonplast is a single thermoplastic material. At the end of a mannequin's life — which will be a long time, given its durability — it can be fully recycled worldwide without complicated dismantling or separation. The internal systems are designed to be removed easily, so nothing prevents the material from entering the recycling stream. This is what genuine circularity looks like. Not a claim. A design decision. Sustainable mannequin benefit 6: circular production, zero waste Even the material left over from producing Bonplast mannequins does not go to waste. Bonami uses recycled Bonplast offcuts to produce custom hangers — giving the material a second life before it ever reaches the recycling stage. This closed-loop approach connects our mannequin collections directly to our hanger range, making the two product lines part of a single, coherent sustainability story. The full Bonplast sustainable mannequin range The Bonplast material is available across Bonami's full sustainable collection — including female mannequins , male mannequins and accessories. The same material benefits apply across every model in the range. You can also combine Bonplast mannequins with our broader collections — full-body female mannequins , male mannequins , busts and store decoration — for a complete visual merchandising concept. Ready to experience the sustainable mannequin benefits for yourself? The best way to understand what Bonplast feels like in practice is to see it in person. - Custom hangers — branding down to the last detail
Think about the last time you noticed a clothes hanger. Probably never — because most hangers are forgettable by design. Thin, generic, plastic. They hold the garment up and that is about it. When they break, which happens quickly, they get thrown away and replaced. Billions of them, every year, straight to landfill. But a hanger is also the first thing a customer touches when they reach for a garment. It is in their hands before the fabric is. And for fashion retailers and boutiques who invest in every other detail of their visual identity — the window display, the mannequins, the lighting, the interior — the hanger is a missed opportunity. At Bonami, we produce custom hangers for fashion retailers that are a genuine extension of your brand. Personalised in colour, shape and logo. Made from sustainable Bonplast material — the same material as our mannequins. Unbreakable, lightweight and 100% recyclable. Key takeaways: Custom hangers reinforce your brand identity at the moment of physical contact Made from Bonplast — 100% recyclable, unbreakable and lightweight Fully personalised in model, colour and logo Available for all garment types — from delicate pieces to heavy coats Part of Bonami's circular production process, using recycled mannequin material Why custom hangers matter for your brand In retail, brand consistency builds trust. Customers notice when every element of a store feels coherent — and they notice, even subconsciously, when something feels off. A generic hanger in a carefully curated boutique is that inconsistency. It is a small detail, but details accumulate. A custom hanger in your brand colour, carrying your logo, communicates the same attention to quality that your window display and your collection do. It also travels. When a customer takes a garment home on a Bonami custom hanger, your brand goes with it. Into their wardrobe, visible every time they open it. That is passive brand presence with zero additional marketing spend. Custom hangers for fashion retailers: what makes Bonami's hangers different Made from Bonplast — sustainable and circular Most hangers are made from standard plastic that breaks easily and ends up as waste. Bonami's custom hangers are made from Bonplast — the same sustainable material used in our sustainable mannequin collections . Crucially, we produce our hangers using recycled leftover material from mannequin production. The material that would otherwise be discarded becomes a new, high-quality product. That is what a genuinely circular production process looks like in practice. Bonplast is 100% recyclable. At the end of the hanger's life — which will be a long time, given its durability — it can be fully recycled rather than sent to landfill. Unbreakable — built for daily retail use Standard plastic hangers break. It happens constantly in busy retail environments — on the rail, during stock movement, in fitting rooms. Each broken hanger is a small cost that adds up significantly over a retail season. Bonami's custom hangers do not break under normal retail conditions. The Bonplast material absorbs impact rather than cracking. That durability makes them a long-term investment rather than a recurring expense. Fully customisable — your model, your colour, your logo Every detail of your custom hanger can be specified. Choose the model that fits your garment types — thicker for heavy coats and outerwear, finer for delicate dresses and knitwear. Choose your colour from the full colour palette, matched precisely to your brand identity. Add your logo for a finishing touch that makes the hanger unmistakably yours. The result is a hanger that feels designed, not sourced. Lightweight — easy to handle every day Despite their strength, Bonami hangers are significantly lighter than comparable alternatives. Your team handles hundreds of hangers every day — lighter hangers reduce physical strain and speed up every task from steaming to restocking. Fits every garment type One size does not fit all in fashion retail. A hanger that works perfectly for a structured blazer is not the right choice for a bias-cut slip dress. Bonami produces custom hangers in any shape and thickness, ensuring your garments hang correctly and look their best at all times. Match your hangers to your mannequins and store concept The most coherent visual merchandising concepts carry the same design language across every touchpoint. When your window mannequins , your store decoration and your hangers share a colour palette or material finish, the overall effect is markedly more professional and more memorable. Bonami makes this easy. Because we produce both mannequins and hangers in-house, in the same Bonplast material, we can match finishes precisely. Your display rail becomes an extension of your window, not an afterthought. A sustainable choice that aligns with your brand values Sustainability is increasingly important to fashion retail customers. A custom hanger made from recycled, 100% recyclable material is a small but concrete expression of that commitment — one that your customers hold in their hands at the moment of purchase. It is also consistent with the broader direction of retail. As regulatory pressure on single-use plastics increases, investing in durable, recyclable alternatives now is good business sense as well as good environmental practice. Explore our full range of sustainable mannequin solutions alongside our hanger collection for a complete, coherent visual merchandising approach. Ready to make your hanger part of your brand? - Customizable mannequin torso — build your own, piece by piece
No two stores are the same. So why settle for a display torso that looks like everyone else's? A mannequin torso is more than a functional display tool. It is an extension of your brand — the first thing a customer sees when they look at your collection. The fabric, the colour, the posture, the presence or absence of a head or arms — every choice communicates something about who you are and what you sell. At Bonami, we have built a system that lets you configure your ideal customizable mannequin torso from the ground up. Choose exactly what you need, combine elements to create multiple looks from a single torso, and end up with a display solution that is genuinely yours. Key takeaways: One customizable mannequin torso can create up to four different looks Configure head, legs, arms, hands, fabric, colour and base independently Available in linen or velvet, multiple shades, for women, men and children Wooden arms available with fixed design hands or movable fingers All bases available in black epoxy or any custom RAL colour Why a customizable mannequin torso outperforms a standard one A standard torso comes as it comes. Fixed proportions, a single finish, limited flexibility. It works — until your brand evolves, your collection changes direction or you simply want more from your display. A customizable mannequin torso solves that problem by design. Every element is chosen by you, for your specific needs. The result is a display that feels coherent with your brand identity rather than incidental to it. There is also a practical advantage. Because you configure the torso yourself, you can adapt the same base piece to different contexts — with a head for accessories, without for a cleaner look, with wooden arms for a jacket display, without for a simpler presentation. One torso, multiple applications. How to build your customizable mannequin torso Step 1 — With or without legs? Without legs gives you a compact, clean display that works well in limited space. It is also perfectly suited for trousers when the torso is positioned sideways on the stand. With legs adds realistic body volume and is ideal when trousers, skirts or full outfits are a core part of your collection. The extended silhouette also creates more visual presence in a window or in-store display. Step 2 — With or without a head? Without a head creates a modern, minimalist presentation. The focus shifts entirely to the garment — no face, no distraction. With a head opens up more storytelling possibilities. It is particularly effective when you want to display accessories such as hats, scarves, sunglasses or jewellery as part of a complete look. Step 3 — With or without wooden arms? Without arms is the clean, quick option for everyday in-store styling. Simple, effective and easy to dress. With wooden arms adds structure and realism to your display. This option is especially effective for presenting sleeves, tailored jackets, handbags or any garment where the arm position matters. Two options for the hands: Design hands have a fixed shape that adds elegance and visual balance to the overall display. Refined and consistent. Movable fingers allow for expressive, dynamic styling. Ideal for holding a bag, posing naturally or creating a sense of movement in your display. Step 4 — Choose your fabric and colour Your torso should feel like a natural part of your store interior. Two fabric options are available: Linen is durable, classic and neutral — our most popular choice. Available in ecru, black, light brown and dark brown. More dirt-resistant and stronger than cotton, making it a practical long-term option for high-traffic retail environments. Velvet delivers a soft, luxurious finish that works beautifully in premium and lifestyle retail contexts. Available in a range of colours to match your store identity or seasonal collection themes. Step 5 — Choose your base The base completes the torso and anchors it in your store concept. Four options are available: Square base Rectangular base Tripod base Wheeled base — ideal for stores that rearrange displays frequently All bases are finished in black epoxy as standard, but can be customised in any RAL colour to match your interior or brand palette. The full range: women, men and children Our customizable mannequin torso system is available across the full range of our tailor busts and torso collection — for women, men and children. Whether you run a womenswear boutique, a menswear concept store or a children's fashion retailer, the same configuration logic applies. You can also combine your torso display with our full-body female mannequins , male mannequins or busts for a layered, complete visual merchandising concept. A display that grows with your brand The true advantage of a customizable mannequin torso is longevity. As your brand evolves — new collections, new store concepts, new seasonal directions — you adapt the configuration rather than replacing the torso. That flexibility reduces cost, reduces waste and keeps your display feeling fresh. It is the same philosophy that drives our sustainable mannequin collections : build quality in from the start, design for adaptability, and create something that lasts. Ready to build your ideal torso? Your brand is unique. Your display should be too. Explore the full torso and tailor bust collection or contact us for a free consultation. We will help you configure the perfect customizable mannequin torso for your store.
- Window props for visual merchandising — the detail that stops people in their tracks
You have three seconds. That is how long a passer-by takes to decide whether your store window is worth a second look. Your mannequins carry the clothing. Your lighting sets the mood. But it is the unexpected detail — the oversized dog, the whimsical unicorn, the sculptural bust form — that makes someone stop walking and actually look. That detail is your window prop, and in visual merchandising, it is one of the most underused tools available to retailers. At Bonami, we design and produce custom window props for visual merchandising that are as unique as the brands they represent. From a single eye-catching piece to a complete thematic concept, everything is made in-house and tailored to your store. Key takeaways: Window props transform a standard display into a memorable brand experience Bonami designs and produces all props in-house, fully customised to your brand Available in any shape, colour, size and finish Suitable for seasonal campaigns, permanent displays and shop-in-shop concepts Proven expertise in retail props for fashion, luxury and lifestyle brands Why window props matter in visual merchandising Most retailers invest in good mannequins and quality lighting. Fewer invest in props — and that is exactly why props work so well for those who do use them. A well-chosen window prop does three things simultaneously. It grabs attention from the street, it communicates something about your brand personality, and it creates a scene rather than just a display. That shift — from a collection of products to a story — is what turns a window into an experience. Props are also exceptionally effective on social media. A striking window display gets photographed, shared and tagged. That organic visibility has a reach that no paid campaign can fully replicate. Custom window props for visual merchandising: what Bonami creates Playful and figurative props Some of the most effective window props are the ones that surprise. An oversized dog sitting beside a mannequin. A unicorn emerging from a backdrop. A family of bears arranged around a children's collection. These figurative props create an immediate emotional connection and give your window a story that customers remember. At Bonami, we have produced custom figurative props for fashion retailers, luxury boutiques and international brands. Each one starts as a brief — a brand mood, a seasonal theme, a specific character — and ends as a handcrafted piece built to the exact dimensions and finish of your window. Decorative and sculptural props Not every prop needs to be whimsical. For premium and luxury brands, decorative props often take a more sculptural, architectural direction. Think geometric shapes, oversized abstract forms, or refined decorative elements that add visual weight and depth without competing with the collection. These props work particularly well alongside our bust forms and tailor busts , creating a complete visual concept that feels designed rather than assembled. Seasonal and thematic display props Seasonal windows are one of the biggest visual merchandising opportunities of the retail calendar. Christmas, Valentine's Day, summer — each season offers a chance to create a window that feels timely, relevant and engaging. Custom props allow you to build a seasonal concept that is specific to your brand, rather than relying on generic decorations available to every retailer. The result is a window that communicates clearly: this brand has a point of view. From idea to finished prop: our process Every window prop Bonami produces starts with a conversation. We want to understand your brand, your store concept, your target customer and the feeling you want to create. From there, our in-house creative team develops the design, considering: Shape and size — scaled to your window dimensions and display concept Colour and finish — matched precisely to your brand identity Material — durable, sturdy and built for the retail environment Once the design is approved, production happens entirely in our facility in Aalter. You work directly with the people making your props, which means faster turnaround, direct communication and a result that genuinely reflects your brief. This is the same approach we take with our window mannequins , sustainable collections and store decoration — everything in-house, everything tailored. The business case for investing in window props It is easy to see window props as a luxury — something brands with large budgets invest in while smaller retailers stick to mannequins and lighting. But that thinking underestimates how much work a single well-placed prop can do. A striking prop generates social media content without any additional effort. It creates a reason for customers to stop, look and photograph. It differentiates your store from competitors on the same street. And because props are reusable and durable, the cost per display is often lower than you might expect. For retailers who change their windows regularly, a set of quality custom props is one of the most versatile investments they can make. Ready to make your window impossible to ignore? A window that tells a story sells more than a window that simply displays products. Custom window props for visual merchandising are how you tell that story. Explore our decoration and props range or contact us to discuss your concept. We will turn your idea into something your customers will stop for.
- Transparent mannequins — when your collection speaks for itself
What if your mannequin almost disappeared — and your clothing became the only thing customers noticed? That is exactly what a transparent mannequin does. Instead of competing with your collection, it steps aside. The focus shifts entirely to the fabric, the cut, the colour — to the product you want to sell. The result is a window display that feels refined, modern and effortlessly editorial. At Bonami, we have taken that concept further. Our transparent mannequins are not only visually striking — they are made from a sustainable material that is 100% recyclable, shatterproof and lightweight. Beauty and responsibility, combined. Key takeaways: Transparent mannequins put the full focus on your clothing and accessories Made from sustainable material: 100% recyclable, shatterproof and lightweight Available in fully transparent or transparent colour finishes matched to your brand Suitable for mannequins, busts and custom display solutions Available as standard collection or fully custom-made Why transparent mannequins are transforming retail displays The traditional mannequin is a powerful tool — but it always brings its own visual identity into the picture. The skin tone, the finish, the colour all influence how the clothing reads in the display. A transparent mannequin removes that variable entirely. The material becomes almost invisible, which means nothing distracts from your collection. It is an approach that works particularly well for detailed garments, statement pieces and luxury or premium brands where every visual element needs to feel intentional. It also creates a striking contrast in a busy retail environment. Shoppers are used to seeing opaque mannequins. A transparent one stops them in their tracks. What makes Bonami's transparent mannequin material unique Not all transparent mannequins are created equal. Bonami's transparent material is different in every meaningful way. 100% recyclable — genuinely sustainable Our transparent material is 100% recyclable worldwide. This is not a marketing claim — it is a design decision made from the very beginning of development. At the end of the mannequin's life, it can be fully processed without complicated dismantling or separation of materials. For retailers with sustainability commitments, this matters. A beautiful display and a responsible choice are no longer mutually exclusive. Shatterproof — built for daily retail use In a busy store, mannequins fall. It happens. With traditional transparent materials, that often means a shattered display and an emergency repair. Our material does not shatter. It absorbs impact and stays intact, keeping your display looking professional even after an accidental knock. No broken pieces. No repair costs. No unexpected downtime in your visual merchandising routine. Lightweight — easy to move and dress Our transparent mannequins are significantly lighter than traditional models made from fibreglass or standard resin. Your team can reposition them quickly, dress them efficiently and refresh your display without physical strain. Perfect finish — no visible seams The surface finish of our transparent material is clean and precise. No visible seams, no rough edges, no imperfections that draw the eye. The mannequin itself disappears — which is exactly the point. Creative possibilities with a transparent mannequin Transparency opens up creative directions that are simply not possible with an opaque mannequin. Add a spotlight directly behind or above the mannequin and watch the material catch and refract the light. Use coloured lighting to shift the mood of your display without changing a single garment. The material responds to light in a way that gives your window display a dynamic quality that changes throughout the day. Our transparent material can also be finished in transparent colours — a subtle amber, a soft blush, a deep teal — matched precisely to your brand palette. You get the focus benefits of a transparent mannequin with a colour accent that reinforces your brand identity. Standard collection and custom-made solutions Bonami offers a female transparent mannequin collection and a male transparent mannequin collection as part of our standard range. These are available in a variety of poses and finishes, ready to order. For brands that need something specific — a unique pose, a particular proportion, a custom colour finish — we also produce fully custom-made transparent mannequins and busts. Our design and production team works directly with you to create a solution that fits your brand identity and your store concept. This is part of what it means to work with a manufacturer rather than a distributor. We do not just sell from a catalogue — we build what you need. Also worth exploring alongside our transparent range: our sustainable female mannequins , sustainable male mannequins and sustainable hangers from the Future Collection. The transparent mannequin as part of your sustainability story More and more retailers are looking for ways to make their store presentation align with their broader sustainability values. A transparent mannequin made from 100% recyclable material is a concrete, visible expression of that commitment. It is not just something that matters behind the scenes — it is something your customers can see and feel when they look at your window. A display that is beautiful, innovative and responsible. That combination is increasingly rare. It is also increasingly valued. Ready to let your collection take centre stage? A transparent mannequin does not just change the way your display looks. It changes the way customers experience your collection. Discover our transparent mannequin collection or contact us to discuss a custom solution for your store.
- Mannequin manufacturer Belgium — Bonami designs and builds every mannequin in-house
What does it actually mean when a company calls itself a mannequin manufacturer? For many brands in the industry, it means little more than placing orders with an overseas factory and putting their name on the box. At Bonami, it means something entirely different. Since 1987, we have designed, prototyped, produced and finished every mannequin ourselves — in our own facilities. That distinction matters. It is the reason we can guarantee quality, customisation and consistency that another company simply cannot offer. Key takeaways: Bonami is a genuine mannequin manufacturer based in Belgium, active since 1987 Every mannequin is designed, prototyped and produced entirely in-house Custom colours, hand-painted make-up and wigs available for every model Worldwide delivery with full service from concept to delivery Both standard collections and fully tailor-made solutions available Why being a genuine mannequin manufacturer in Belgium makes the difference The mannequin industry has many distributors. Companies that buy finished products from factories elsewhere and sell them under their own name. There is nothing wrong with that model — but it comes with limitations. When you work with a genuine mannequin manufacturer like Bonami, you get something those distributors cannot offer: direct access to the design and production process. If you want a different pose, a specific colour matched to your brand, or a completely custom model built from scratch — we can do it, because we make it ourselves. From first sketch to finished mannequin: our production process Step 1 — Design Every Bonami collection starts from a blank page. Our design team follows international fashion trends, studies body proportions and works closely with retail clients to create silhouettes that truly represent their brand. New models are developed using 3D design software, giving us full control over every detail before a single gram of material is used. Step 2 — Prototyping Once the 3D models are finalised, we produce physical prototypes. This is where fit and finish are tested and refined. We adjust proportions, test how clothing sits on the form and evaluate the overall look before moving to production. No mannequin goes into full production until the prototype meets our standards. Step 3 — Production After prototype approval, production begins in our facilities. We work with advanced materials including our own Bonplast — a durable, lightweight and 100% recyclable material that forms the basis of our Future Collection. Production is mechanised for consistency and efficiency, while quality control is carried out at every stage. Step 4 — Finishing This is where a Bonami mannequin truly becomes itself. Every mannequin can be finished to your exact specifications: In any colour , matched precisely to your brand identity With hand-painted make-up for a realistic, detailed look With wigs for a complete, styled presentation In matte, gloss or specialised surface treatments No two stores are identical. Our finishing process makes sure your mannequins are not either. Tailor-made mannequins for every brand identity Beyond our standard collections — female , male , kids , plus size , sport , lingerie and more — we produce a significant number of fully custom mannequins every year. Retail chains, luxury boutiques and international fashion brands come to us when they need something that does not exist in any catalogue. A unique pose, a specific body proportion, a surface finish that matches their shop interior exactly. Because we are a genuine mannequin manufacturer, we can say yes to those requests. And deliver on them. Worldwide delivery, Belgian craftsmanship Bonami delivers to retailers, boutiques and retail chains across Europe and beyond. From our facility in Aalter, we manage the full journey — from initial concept and design consultation through to production, finishing and delivery. You work directly with the people who make your mannequins. No intermediaries, no surprises. Why choose Bonami as your mannequin manufacturer? Family-owned Belgian manufacturer since 1987 Full in-house design, prototyping, production and finishing Custom colours, make-up and wigs for every model Standard collections and fully tailor-made solutions Sustainable options including the 100% recyclable Future Collection Worldwide delivery with direct service Ready to work with a mannequin manufacturer that controls every step of the process? - Lightweight mannequins for easy dressing — and a happier retail team
How much time does your team lose every week dressing and undressing mannequins? For many visual merchandisers and retail staff, it is more than they care to admit. Heavy bodies, stiff joints, broken fingers, peeling paint — traditional mannequins turn a creative task into a physical chore. And when dressing mannequins becomes frustrating, window displays get updated less often. Less often means less impact. Less impact means fewer customers walking through the door. Lightweight mannequins change that equation entirely. At Bonami, our Future Collection is designed specifically to make dressing faster, safer and more enjoyable — for your team and for your store. Key takeaways: Lightweight mannequins reduce physical strain and speed up dressing time Magnetic systems mean parts click into place without force or tools Colour embedded in the material — no peeling, no repainting, no damage Unbreakable construction built for intensive daily retail use Part of Bonami's sustainable Future Collection Why traditional mannequins slow your team down The problem with most conventional mannequins comes down to three things: weight, fragility and friction. Heavy mannequins are difficult to move, especially in tight window displays or busy stockrooms. Fragile limbs and wrist joints snap under pressure — and a broken mannequin mid-display change is nobody's idea of a good morning. Spray-painted surfaces chip and peel, leaving your displays looking tired well before the mannequin reaches the end of its life. The result is a team that dreads window change day. Displays that stay up too long. And a visual merchandising strategy that never quite reaches its potential. Lightweight mannequins: what makes the Bonami Future Collection different Significantly lighter than traditional models Our Future Collection lightweight mannequins are made from Bonplast — a durable, innovative material that is substantially lighter than traditional fibreglass or resin. Your team can move them quickly and comfortably, even during frequent changes. This matters more than it sounds. When mannequins are easy to move, window displays get refreshed more often. Fresh displays attract more attention. More attention drives more footfall. Magnetic systems for effortless dressing This is the feature retail teams notice first. Arms, legs and other components attach via smart magnetic systems — no forcing, no twisting, no tools required. Parts click smoothly into place in seconds. Anyone on your team can work with them, regardless of experience or physical strength. Dressing a mannequin goes from a ten-minute struggle to a two-minute routine. Unbreakable and colourfast Bonami's lightweight mannequins are built to withstand the realities of daily retail use. When they fall — and in a busy store, they will — they do not break. There are no snapped wrists, no shattered torsos, no sudden repair costs. The colour is embedded directly into the Bonplast material, not applied as a surface coating. That means no chipping, no peeling and no visible damage over time. If a mannequin does get a scratch, it buffs out easily with sandpaper. Your displays stay looking professional for years. Built for frequent visual merchandising changes Fashion retail moves fast. Your mannequins need to keep up. The Future Collection is specifically designed for stores that change their displays regularly — whether weekly, seasonally or for special promotions. The combination of light weight, magnetic assembly and unbreakable construction means your team can refresh a full window display in a fraction of the usual time. That time saving adds up quickly across a retail season. A better experience for your team, a better result for your store When dressing mannequins stops being a frustration, something shifts. Your team engages more creatively with the display. Windows get updated more regularly. The overall presentation becomes more dynamic and more appealing to customers. Good visual merchandising starts with the right tools. Lightweight mannequins are one of the most impactful — and most overlooked — upgrades a retail store can make. Explore our full range of female mannequins and male mannequins from the Future Collection. Or take a look at how our hangers can complete your visual merchandising setup. Ready to make mannequin dressing easier? Dressing mannequins should inspire your team, not exhaust them. The solution is already here. - Custom podiums for retail display — the detail that makes the difference
Does your store window draw customers in, or do they walk straight past? Most retailers focus on the right mannequins and the right clothing. But the presentation underneath — the height, the layering, the visual rhythm — is what separates a good display from an unforgettable one. That is exactly where custom podiums come in. At Bonami, we design and produce made-to-measure podiums that strengthen your retail display and bring your store concept to life. Key takeaways: Podiums add height and depth to any store or window display Fully customisable in shape, colour and finish Suitable for mannequins, accessories, shoes, bags and more Designed and produced in-house by Bonami Why custom podiums make your retail display stronger A podium does far more than simply support a product. Used well, it becomes an active part of your visual storytelling. Presenting items at different heights naturally guides the customer's eye through your display. It creates focal points, adds a sense of depth and gives your collection the premium presentation it deserves. Without height variation, even the most beautiful products can get lost in a flat, undifferentiated display. A single podium — in the right place, at the right height — changes that instantly. Custom podiums for retail display: shapes and finishes No two stores are alike, and your podiums should reflect that. Our podiums are available in four shapes: round, oval, square and rectangular. Each can be finished to your exact specifications: In any colour , matched to your brand identity Upholstered with fabric for a soft, luxurious look Matte or gloss, minimal or bold This means your podiums blend seamlessly with your mannequins , busts and overall store decoration — creating one coherent visual concept rather than a collection of separate elements. Multifunctional: more than a mannequin base Our podiums are designed to work across your entire store, not just in the window. Use them as: A solid base for mannequins or bust forms A display platform for shoes, handbags, hats and jewellery A seating element in fitting rooms or lounge areas A structural feature in shop-in-shop or pop-up concepts One investment. Endless applications. Height creates impact in visual merchandising Working with different heights is one of the most effective techniques in visual merchandising. It makes your store feel more spacious, more organised and more inspiring — all without changing a single product. The podium is often the invisible force behind a display that just works . Customers may not notice it consciously. But they feel the difference. Designed and produced in-house by Bonami Just like our sustainable mannequins , our podiums are designed and produced entirely in-house. That means full control over quality, finish and customisation — from the first sketch to the final delivery. Everything starts from your needs and your brand story. Whether you need one podium or a complete concept for multiple stores, we make it work. Ready to elevate your store presentation? - Why Bonami mannequins are truly 100% recyclable
Sustainability has become one of the most talked-about topics in retail. Walk through any trade fair and you will see mannequins labelled as eco-friendly , bio-based or sustainable . But how many of them are actually, genuinely recyclable once they reach the end of their life? At Bonami, we asked ourselves the same question — and we were not satisfied with the answer we found in the market. That is why we designed our mannequins differently, from the ground up. The problem with most "sustainable" mannequins The retail industry has good intentions, but sustainability claims are often not backed by recyclable reality. Here is what we see most often: Bio-resin mannequins are frequently marketed as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fibreglass. While the material itself may have a lower carbon footprint during production, bio-resin mannequins are typically not recyclable as a complete product. That means they still end up as waste at the end of their lifecycle. Paper and cardboard mannequins look sustainable at first glance — and in theory, paper is recyclable. The problem lies in the construction: internal metal systems are permanently glued inside the body of the mannequin. To recycle the paper, those metal parts first need to be cut out and removed. That process requires extra labour, extra time and extra cost. In practice, almost nobody does it. The mannequin ends up in the bin. Add to that the fact that paper and cardboard are vulnerable to moisture — a real issue in retail environments where floors are regularly mopped and humidity levels fluctuate — and the lifespan of these mannequins is often disappointingly short. How Bonami designed 100% recyclable mannequins — from the ground up At Bonami, we approached recyclability as a design challenge, not an afterthought. The key difference: all internal systems in our mannequins can be easily removed . There is no permanent gluing, no complex dismantling process. When a mannequin reaches the end of its life, the internal components can be taken out quickly and reused, while the mannequin body itself goes straight to recycling. No cutting. No extra tools. No reason to skip the process. This is what makes it genuinely circular — not just on paper, but in practice, in the real world, in a real retail environment. Curious to see this in action? Explore our sustainable mannequin collection and discover the full Future range. Colour in the material, not on the surface There is a second reason why our mannequins are easier to recycle than most: we do not use paint . Traditional mannequins are spray-painted. Over time, that paint chips and peels — not a great look on the shop floor. More importantly, paint must be removed through sandblasting before the mannequin can be recycled. Many manufacturers also apply additional layers of filler material beneath the paint to create a smooth surface, making the product even harder to process at end of life. Our approach is different. At Bonami, colour is integrated directly into the material itself . That means: No paint to remove before recycling No chipping or peeling — ever If the mannequin gets a scratch, it can be buffed out easily with sandpaper The colour stays consistent and beautiful for years, even in demanding retail conditions This is not just better for the environment. It is also better for the retailer. Fewer damaged mannequins. Lower replacement costs. A consistently professional look in your store. Sustainability that starts at the drawing board Real sustainability is not about choosing one greener material and calling it done. It is about thinking through the entire lifecycle of a product — how it is made, how it performs, and crucially, what happens when it is no longer needed. By designing mannequins with removable internal systems and colour integrated into the material, we have created a product that is sustainable from the first day in your store to the last. Our female mannequins , male mannequins and sustainable hangers in the Future range all follow this same principle. Honest manufacturing, not marketing The retail industry deserves better than greenwashing. That is why we choose transparency over trend-chasing. We can say our mannequins are 100% recyclable because we designed them to be — not because it is a good story to tell. If you are looking for display mannequins that genuinely align with your sustainability commitments, we would love to show you what is possible.
